Overnight accommodation is provided in the beautifully restored “Kloof huisies” owned by the National Parks Board.

Guests can experience the tranquility of this secluded “kloof” that were, for nearly a century, home to a small community that lived in isolation from the “outside world”. Traditional “Kloof” meals are prepared by the “Joubert- family” who are the only remaining remnant of the original “Klowers”. Annatjie Joubert was brought up in the Gamkaskloof and with her family they will treat you with stories and delicacies from a bygone era.
